island Texel by car
This can be either a one-day excursion or a more-than-one-day excursion. With an early start on the mainland (e.g. Amsterdam) and a later than usual return, Texel can indeed be covered by car in one day.
A one or two night stay in a hotel, centrally located on the island, is also possible. It provides you a good basis to explore and enjoy the many nature reserves and birding (hot)spots of the island. Prices of accommodation and an estimation of the costs for a longer-than-one-day trip can be made for you.
"Texel Bird Island" is well known for its variety of bird habitats: The North Sea, the tidal Wadden Sea, sand dunes, a lagoon and bay, woods, wet and dry polderlands and meadow lands.
